What Happened?
On October 30, 2023, UKG learned that a file containing confidential information belonging to certain employees was inadvertently shared with other customers.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, UKG Inc. reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. While the breached information varies depending on the individual, it could include your name, Social Security number, demographic information, salary information, address, and financial account information.
On January 5,2024, UKG Inc. sent out data breach letters to anyone who was affected by the recent data security incident. These letters should provide victims with a list of what information belonging to them was compromised. UKG is also offering affected individuals 24 months of free credit monitoring through IdentityDefense Complete.
